I’m guessing I’m not the only person who hit this wall, but OlliOlli World seems custom-built to address that problem. I understand that it’s a sort of easy-to-learn hard-to-master kind of deal, and that’s what makes it appealing, but a game has to get its hooks in me before I care enough to master it. Just getting through the tutorial is exhausting. I get that it’s a beloved series, and the straightforward interpretation of skating the perfect skateboard line appeals to me, but there’s something so clinical about the depiction. I tried multiple times to get into the OlliOlli games, and each time I bounced right off. OlliOlli World is said to be launching in the first quarter of 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series XIS and Xbox One consoles, PC, and Nintendo Switch. We are thrilled to share these captivating tunes created by outstanding independent musicians from around the world. Music has always been a key component in OlliOlli games as it constitutes an integral part of the flow-state gameplay of the series. Simon Bennett, Co-CEO at Roll7, who also announced the Best Audio award during the show had this to say, The playlist contains a selection of eight songs from the forthcoming soundtrack: The music can also be accessed on the OlliOlli World Spotify playlist. The music comes from artists like Fardust, Adam Swim, Midflite, and more. The game will now come with thirty-two tracks of lush electronic beats.
